Fallout Teases Post-Apocalyptic Thrills in Debut Trailer

Amazon

Amazon has unveiled the inaugural teaser trailer for “Fallout,” its upcoming live-action series inspired by the immensely popular video games. The teaser provides a glimpse into Amazon’s portrayal of the post-apocalyptic wasteland, featuring Ella Purnell, known for her role in “Yellowjackets,” emerging from Vault 33 to confront it for the first time. The series is slated to unfold in Los Angeles, two centuries after a nuclear war devastated Earth.

The trailer follows Amazon’s recent release of stills from the show, offering a more in-depth look at the characters and the challenges they will confront in the post-apocalyptic landscape. It serves as a promising preview of the series’ approach to its beloved source material.

Ella Purnell leads the cast in “Fallout,” joined by notable actors such as Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight) portraying a breakout ghoul, Aaron Moten (Emancipation) as a member of the Brotherhood of Steel, and Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) in the role of a vault overseer. Additionally, the video introduces a canine character named CX404, featured in promotional materials carrying a severed hand. “Fallout” is set to premiere on Prime Video on April 12 next year.
