How to track your mood on Apple Watch with watchOS 10:

  1. Open the Mindfulness app.
  2. Tap Log State of Mind.
  3. Choose whether to log your Momentary emotion or Daily mood.
    • Momentary emotion: This logs how you’re feeling at that exact moment.
    • Daily mood: This logs how you felt overall that day.
  4. Use the Digital Crown to scroll through the shapes and select the one that best represents how you’re feeling. There are seven different shapes to choose from:
    • Pleasant: This shape represents positive emotions like happiness, joy, and excitement.
    • Neutral: This shape represents a neutral mood, neither positive nor negative.
    • Unpleasant: This shape represents negative emotions like sadness, anger, and anxiety.

  1. Optionally, tap Select to choose a specific emotion from the list. There are over 20 different emotions to choose from, including happiness, sadness, anger, anxiety, stress, love, gratitude, and hope.
  2. Optionally, tap Select to choose what’s having the biggest impact on your mood. There are over 10 different factors to choose from, including work, relationships, health, finances, and stress.
  3. Tap the checkmark in the top right corner to save your entry.
