Capcom

Unwrap an iPhone 15 Pro, iPad, or M3-powered MacBook Pro this holiday season, and you’ll dive into one of the year’s blockbuster games in no time. Capcom has revealed that the Resident Evil 4 remake is set to land on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as iPads and Macs equipped with an M1 or later chipset, on December 20. The Separate Ways expansion accompanies the release on the same day.

This revamped edition of the 2005 survival horror classic comes with Universal Purchase support, allowing a single purchase to unlock gameplay across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. With cross-progression, seamlessly switch from your iMac to your couch, continuing your progress on your iPhone or iPad.

Feel free to test a portion of the game at no cost before making the decision to purchase. This trial lets you gauge Resident Evil 4’s performance on your device and evaluate the suitability of touch controls for iPhone and iPad, with the added option of controller support. For Mac users, the flexibility extends to keyboard and mouse play.

Apple’s recent emphasis on bringing notable games to its devices is evident, with Resident Evil Village available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and Apple Silicon-powered iPads. Additionally, upcoming releases such as Stray in December and titles like Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Death Stranding in the pipeline underscore Apple’s commitment to gaming on its platforms.
